SUMMARY OF POSITION 

We are seeking a mid-level to experienced CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our Utilities team in Ephrata, PA. This position is responsible for safely operating a variety of CDL construction vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites. The ideal candidate will have experience hauling heavy equipment, securing loads, and operating trailers in a construction environment. In addition to driving responsibilities, this role requires a team-oriented individual who is willing to assist with equipment loading and unloading and perform general labor duties as needed to support field operations and project success.

Please note that this position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with Kinsley Construction policies and procedures.


TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Safely transport materials using single axle and pintle hook trailer.
  • Load, secure and tie down equipment as needed.
  • Move heavy equipment using single axle and pinnal hitch trailer.
  • Assist with unloading of equipment when required.
  • Be willing to help with various physical, labor tasks as required.
  • Perform other related duties as required.


REQUIREMENTS 

    • Must have valid Class A CDL driver's license and clean MVR.
    • Knowledge of DOT standards and requirements.
    • Ability to pass and maintain a DOT physical, including a drug and alcohol test.
    • Prior experience driving a single axle and pintle hook trailer is preferred.
    • Must be dependable, reliable, and a team player.
    • Willing to work overtime, including weekends, when necessary.
