POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of both Director of Plant Facilities and the VP of Support Services, this position will coordinate administrative functions provide managerial, administrative, and compliance support to the Plant Facilities Department, Grounds & Off-site practices. The position also requires being "lead" for project types that are low to moderately complex-involving collaboration with only a limited number of consultants, contractors, or vendors (following standard processes) This position requires the ability to perform complex tasks, projects, assignments, and activities at a level in the organization where professionalism and strict confidentiality is critical. Contacts are often of a critical nature and a comprehensive knowledge of the activities of these departments is vital for success.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE:
Two Year AA degree in with 2 years' experience or an equivalent combination of education in secretarial, project management, and work experience. Requires proficient knowledge of PC software, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel), network systems and graphics. Must possess excellent communication skills (both oral and written), and problem-solving skills. Position requires organizational ability, multi-tasking, working well under pressure and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Requires ability to learn and manage unique database programs for equipment management.
EXPERIENCE:
One to two years of administrative experience in an engineering/facilities or healthcare work environment and familiarity with state and regulatory agencies highly desired.
