As a Staff AI Software Engineer on Sanofi’s R&D Data & AI Products and Platforms Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our digital transformation. Our mission is to accelerate drug discovery and deliver better treatments to patients faster by leveraging AI at scale.

This position is a cornerstone of Sanofi’s AI-first strategy, focused on building enterprise-grade Data & AI products for R&D use cases. About You

Experience & Leadership:

  • Bachelor's required. Master's preferred

  • +7 years experience of AI/ML product engineering experience with proven track record of complex, production-grade systems

  • Demonstrated experience leading small engineering teams and mentoring junior/mid-level engineers

  • Proven ability to drive technical strategy and influence cross-functional stakeholders

Technical Expertise:

  • Advanced proficiency with SQL, Python, Java, AWS, Snowflake, data analytics tools

  • Expert-level experience designing and scaling APIs/Endpoints (Flask, Django, FastAPI)

  • Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI/ML model deployment infrastructure

  • Strong experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and MLOps practices
