How much do mid level advanced practice nurse jobs pay per year?

As of Jun 12, 2026, the average yearly pay for mid level advanced practice nurse in the United States is $106,650.00, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $87,000.00 and $120,000.00 per year, depending on experience, location, and employer.

How to make $200,000 as an NP?

To earn $200,000 as a mid-level advanced practice nurse, professionals often increase income through specialized certifications, working in high-demand specialties, or gaining additional experience in settings like hospitals or clinics. Working extra hours, taking on leadership roles, or pursuing roles in telehealth can also boost earnings, especially in regions with higher compensation rates.

What jobs pay $10,000 a month without a degree?

Mid Level Advanced Practice Nurses typically require a degree and licensure, so earning $10,000 a month without a degree is unlikely in this role. However, some high-paying freelance or entrepreneurial jobs such as sales, real estate, or digital marketing can reach that income level without formal degrees, often relying on skills, experience, and networking. These roles may involve self-employment, commission-based pay, or flexible schedules.

What is the highest paid advanced practice nurse?

The highest paid advanced practice nurses are typically Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), who often earn the highest salaries among advanced practice roles due to their specialized skills and responsibilities in anesthesia care. Salaries can vary based on experience, location, and work setting, but CRNAs generally have the highest earning potential in the advanced practice nursing field.

Can you make 300K as an NP?

Mid-level advanced practice nurses (NPs) can potentially earn $300,000 or more annually, especially with specialized certifications, extensive experience, working in high-demand areas, or in leadership roles. However, such salaries are typically achieved through additional responsibilities, overtime, or working in certain healthcare settings like hospitals or private practices. Base salaries for NPs generally range from $100,000 to $150,000, with higher earnings possible through bonuses and overtime.

What is the difference between Mid Level Advanced Practice Nurse vs Nurse Practitioner?

Mid Level Advanced Practice Nurses often work under supervision but provide essential advanced care within healthcare teams.
