Job description

We are seeking a Mid Financial Analyst with a strategic mindset and leadership presence to oversee and optimize financial planning, execution, and reporting for high-impact NAVWAR and PEO C4I programs. This role requires a seasoned professional who can lead financial forecasting efforts, guide decision-making with data-driven insights, and collaborate effectively across functional and technical teams.

Scope of Responsibilities:ย  ย  ย  ย 

  • Support preparation of complex monthly financial reports using standardized processes and templates; provide strategic insights that inform leadership decisions.
  • Monitor and analyze program spending, proactively identifying variances and recommending corrective actions to maintain alignment with financial targets.
  • Own and maintain the execution reporting, ensuring accuracy across Labor Rosters, burn rates, and multiple budget lines.
  • Develop executive-level slide decks and tailored briefings that synthesize financial data into actionable intelligence for stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to program leadership, offering risk-informed financial strategies and surfacing issues before they impact program outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration.
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial management, including 3+ years supporting NAVWAR or DoD programs.
  • Microsoft Excel capabilities; comfort with pivot tables, financial models, and scenario planning.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with financial systems and data integration tools (e.g., ERP systems, Business Intelligence platforms).
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, risk analysis, and budget execution for complex federal programs.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to translate technical or operational risks into financial language.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams with a high level of autonomy.

Desired Qualifications:

ย  ย  ย  ย  Active DoD SECRET clearance (preferred) or the ability to obtain one.
ย  ย  ย  ย  Knowledge of DoD PPBE processes and federal appropriations lifecycle.
