Job Description:
Position Summary
The CNC Programing Technician supports the CNC production activities at the MasterBrand Cabinets Arthur manufacturing facility. Will support the factory floor for best utilization of equipment and modification of equipment, tools and processes.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Microvellum libraries for Arthur and assist other MBCI sites as needed.

  • Nesting program evaluations and managing Microvellum.

  • Machine tooling monitoring for part quality and tool life expectations.

  • CI projects focused on quality improvements, sheet utilization, part sequencing, and other improvements.

  • Ensure overall machine health, safety, and full functioning.

  • Operations involvement, including the development of manufacturing documentation as needed, developing improvements on the floor for operations.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities
  • Develop / manage Microvellum optimizations as needed.

  • Develop, change, and manage CNC programs as needed for DMRs.

  • Verify quality, parts, tooling, and new production parts on the CNC machining machines.

  • Improve, monitor, and coach new processes for yield improvements in Millroom.

  • Manage and implement yield initiatives collaboratively with Engineering.

  • Liaison between manufacturing and engineering.

  • Train, test, and monitor operator knowledge on equipment and operation of machines.

Key Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required. Degree and/or certification in industrial engineering a plus

  • Industrial experience in manufacturing process development

  • Able to read product prints and machine prints and manuals

  • MBCI product knowledge preferred

  • CAD/CAM understanding preferred

  • Trouble shooting experience in programing / machining issues

  • Expected to work with minimal guidance to given goals

  • Must have good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • AutoCAD software knowledge is preferred

  • Well organized, good interpersonal skills and a team player

  • Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing, & TPM is desired

Compensation Range:
$27.50-33.66
*Actual pay will vary based on qualifications and other factors
