Job Description
  • Strong Requirement Elicitation & Analysis skills.
  • Should have the capability to understand requirements and convert to design
  • Strong DWH design, Data modeling and SQL skills, Good experience in Microstrategy Administration, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and ETL concepts, and Client-facing and strong communication skills.
  • Strong UNIX/Linux and shell scripting skills.
  • Installing, Configuring and administering Microstrategy environments in UNIX platform.
  • Experienced in administration of Microstrategy Intelligence and Web servers across multiple environments.
  • Configure metadata and base reporting objects. Administer security, tune report performance and troubleshoot reporting and data issues.
  • Understand and apply advanced administration, management and performance tuning techniques in a large Microstrategy Environment.
  • Administering report delivery using the distribution services.
  • Development of project schemas based on dimensional models.
  • Maintaining optimal performance of business intelligence application, performance monitoring, capacity planning, and tuning.
  • Security administration of users, data, and Microstrategy public and schema objects
  • Manage Microstrategy version upgrades, coordinate metadata between daily and weekly environments and maintain QA environments.
  • Provide advanced technical troubleshooting for Microstrategy with emphasis on root.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education
  • At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology
