Job Description

Our Fortune 100 Client is seeking an IT Business Analyst who Excels at working with business community and other teams, analyzing requirements, oversee creation and approval of BI/Data Visualization solutions aligning with Functional Requirements and meet SDLC standards, including Solution Definition documents.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Elicit and document business requirements, risks and priorities to establish a clear understanding of the stakeholders' environment in support of solution development.
  • Analyze/interpret business requirements and Perform current/target/gap/impact analyses.
  • Manage business analysis activities for multiple, large, and/or complex projects concurrently; provides leadership, as well as coaching and mentoring to colleagues.
  • Coordinate change management activities including solution design review, testing phases of system development and facilitate UAT sessions
Qualifications
  • 4 years Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, MIS or related field.
  • Overall 7 years of relevant experience in Financial Services, Insurance or Investment Management firm.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience providing business solutions for Allocations, Planning, Reporting & Analytics applications in financial services industry
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with one or more of these products: Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), Tableau, Qlik, Microstrategy, Business Objects, Cognos delivering Visualizations end-to-end solutions life cycle
  •  Prior experience participating in implementations of BI Applications using Finance Data such as Financial Analytics (GL, AP); Procurement and Spend Analytics; Project/Cost Analytics etc.
  • Well versed with Agile and Waterfall SDLC execution process
