MicroStrategy Developer ย ย 

My name is Bill Stevens, and I have a new full-time MicroStrategy Developer opportunity available for a major firm in Greenwich, Connecticut that could be of interest to you, please review my specification below. The work week schedule will be hybrid, three days a week in the office and two days remote.

The ideal candidate should also possess a green card or be of citizenship. No Visa entanglements and no H1-B holding company submittals. ย 

This position will be paying a competitive fulltime salary in the range of $110,000 - $115,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

Contribute to solution architecture by approving data architecture to be consumed by MicroStrategy.

Transform business requirements into sustainable BI solutions through the construction of MicroStrategy architecture, schema, cubes, reports, and dashboards.

Work closely with Analysts, Architects, Leaders, and Business Users to understand requirements, design reporting solutions, develop code, support user testing, and implement functionality to achieve business goals.

Provide post implementation support and resolve any issues in a production environment to ensure quick resolutions and return to normalcy of the products.

Maintain solid understanding of the business environment, strong analytical and technical skills, and very good communication skills to report findings and solution details in a clear, structured manner.

Qualifications:

Nine years of experience utilizing MicroStrategy toolset including MicroStrategy Developer, Web, and Object Manager to deploy reporting solutions.

Nine years of experience utilizing business requirements for business intelligence reporting and designing effective data models and dashboards.

Nine years of experience utilizing SQL Query for performance tuning of dossiers, documents, and cubes for quick access to information through efficient SQL generation, utilizing VLDB (Very Large Data Base) settings or caching strategy.

Nine years of experience writing SQL scripts against the data warehouse to support analysis, discovery, and testing of reports.

Nine years of experience delivering solutions within a Business Intelligence or Information Technology Environment.

Four years of experience with massively parallel processing (MPP) Cloud databases including Teradata, Exadata, Snowflake or Redshift.
