Employment Type: Full-Time Overview Agensys is seeking a Microsoft 365 Engineer to support a Department of Defense program delivering secure, modernized IT capabilities to the national security community. This program focuses on enhancing mission effectiveness through cloud-based enterprise services, Zero Trust architecture, and advanced data security solutions while enabling collaboration across highly secure and compartmentalized environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, deploying, and administering Microsoft 365 environments, including the implementation of new Microsoft 365 tenants. This role will support enterprise collaboration capabilities while ensuring compliance with DoD security requirements and operational standards. Responsibilities * Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Microsoft 365 environments in secure government environments. * Lead and support Microsoft 365 tenant implementations, migrations, and modernization initiatives. * Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related collaboration platforms. * Implement and maintain Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and identity management solutions. * Configure and enforce security controls, conditional access policies, data loss prevention (DLP), and compliance solutions. * Support Zero Trust and Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) initiatives across the Microsoft ecosystem. * Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and cloud engineering teams to deliver secure enterprise collaboration capabilities. * Troubleshoot complex Microsoft 365 issues and provide engineering support for enterprise users. * Develop automation and operational efficiencies using PowerShell and Microsoft administration tools. * Ensure Microsoft 365 solutions comply with DoD and Intelligence Community security requirements. Required Qualifications * Minimum of 3 years of experience administering and engineering Microsoft 365 environments. * Hands-on experience deploying and configuring new Microsoft 365 tenants. * Experience with Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD). * Experience implementing Microsoft 365 security and compliance solutions. * Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts. * Experience with PowerShell administration and automation. * Active TS/SCI security clearance with eligibility for SAP access. * Ability to work on-site in Northern Virginia. Preferred Qualifications * Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments within the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community. * Experience with Microsoft GCC High or other government cloud environments. * Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and ICAM initiatives. * Experience with Microsoft Purview, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Endpoint, and related security platforms. * Knowledge of hybrid identity and hybrid Exchange environments. * Experience supporting tenant-to-tenant migrations or large-scale enterprise Microsoft 365 deployments.
