IT Specialist Mid AAC is seeking a Sr IT Specialist to install, configure, service, repair, and maintain Information Technology (IT) systems. The Sr IT specialist will collaborate with information engineers in coding, testing, implementation, and documentation projects to support the needs of a Federal Customer. The Sr Specialist will utilize their technical background in IT/network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting efforts to conceptualize, design, construct, test, and implement portions of business and technical Information Technology (IT) solutions through application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology for ensuring mission success through secure, scalable, and efficient systems of the Federal customer mission needs. The position location is Pearl Harbor, Hawaii An active Secret clearance is required for eligibility for this position Required Skills
Years of experience: 4+ Education: High School Diploma or greater Certifications: -IAT Level II certifcation required Must attain one of the following certifications within 6 months of start: -Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) network support certification or Operating System (OS)/Application certification.

-Define scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned projects. -Collect, identify, define, and organize detailed user and IT requirements. -Coordinate and collaborate with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations. -Confirm and prioritize project plans and deliverables with the customer. -Participate in business and technical IT solution implementations, upgrades, enhancement, and conversions. -Apply metrics to monitor performance and measure key project criteria. Prepare system documentation. -Establish and maintain security, integrity, and business continuity controls and documents. -Analyze, identify and resolve business and or technical problems using appropriate tools. -Participate in special studies and stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies. -Experience in Information Systems (IS). -Specialized experience in a single discipline such as assembly/integration, cross-discipline functions, data engineering, industry expertise, knowledge engineering or legacy evolution.
