Responsibilities:
The Salesforce Developer will support Barrow Wise's NIST project and perform the following duties:
  • Resolve software-related changes and issues
  • Design Salesforce CRM platforms to ensure the proper configuration and protection for storage and processing of high confidentiality data, including familiarity with NIST security controls for cloud systems
  • Collaborates with the NIST Salesforce internal Development Team
  • Research, review, and propose implementation approaches and designs
  • Follow NIST Salesforce development code standards and processes
  • Develop monthly reports and changelog reports
  • Create process documentation outlining the backend workflow of Salesforce applications
  • Document Source code for compiling systems administration scripts stored in a NIST-hosted source code repository
  • Performing related duties as required
  • Work remotely

An ideal candidate has the following:
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 4 years of experience with using the Salesforce platform
  • At least 2 years of experience with Salesforce Development (APEX, SOQL, Triggers and Controllers, Visualforce, Salesforce Experience Sites, Lightning Web Component, Java)
  • Experience with Salesforce REST APIs and general API design, including authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0
  • Experience with Salesforce Customizations (Custom Objects, Custom Tabs, Custom Fields, Validation Rules, Lightning Pages, Page Layouts, Record Types, Flows, Assignment Rules, Automated approval, Notifications)
  • Experience with Agile Software Development Methodology with version control software (Gitlab and Git) using Microsoft Visual Studio Enterprise software development tool as IDE
  • At least 2 years of experience with source code control mechanisms, such as git with Salesforce metadata
  • At least 1 year of experience with Salesforce DX
  • Hold an industry-relevant Salesforce certification
