Title : Lead D365 F&O Consultant
Location : Remote 

Duration: Contract

Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned D365 Finance Lead Consultant with extensive experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O). The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in implementing, customizing, and supporting our clients' financial systems, including Project Operations functionality. This position demands advanced expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, forecasting, planning, ISV integration, global rollouts, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Solution Implementation

  • Deployment and Configuration:
    • Lead the implementation of D365 Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cash and Bank Management, Forecasting, Planning, and Project Operations.
    • Configure and customize D365 Finance and Project Operations to align with client-specific financial and project requirements.
    • Adapt solutions to meet regional regulations and standards for global rollouts.

2. Financial Reporting, Planning, and Project Operations

  • Reporting and Consolidation:
    • Design and develop financial reports using tools such as Management Reporter and Power BI.
    • Manage financial consolidations across multiple entities and currencies.
  • Forecasting and Planning:
    • Lead initiatives to improve forecasting, planning, and project financial management processes.
    • Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and project-specific financial best practices.
  • Project Operations:
    • Implement and optimize Project Operations functionality, including project accounting, costing, invoicing, resource management, and revenue recognition.
    • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to integrate project financials with core accounting processes.

3. Integration and Collaboration

  • ISV Integration:
    • Collaborate with Independent Software Vendors to integrate third-party solutions with D365 Finance and Project Operations.
  • Customization:
    • Enhance system functionality and user experience tailored to client-specific needs, including project and financial modules.

4. Business Analysis and Optimization

  • Analyze client financial and project management workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to optimize financial operations and project profitability using D365 Finance and Project Operations.

5. Leadership and Team Development

  • Team Building:
    • Recruit, mentor, and lead finance and project-focused consultants and analysts.
  • Guidance:
    • Promote best practices and professional development, fostering a high-performing team culture.

6. Training and Post-Implementation Support

  • Deliver comprehensive training to clients and internal teams on D365 Finance and Project Operations functionalities.
  • Provide post-implementation support to troubleshoot issues and ensure client satisfaction.

7. Documentation and Compliance

  • Prepare detailed documentation, including solution designs, test plans, and user manuals.
  • Ensure all implementations adhere to financial and project accounting regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, forecasting, planning, and project operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Project Operations functionality, including project costing, revenue recognition, and resource management.
  • Experience integrating D365 Finance and Project Operations with ISV solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting global rollouts of D365 solutions.
  • CPA certification is a plus.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience building and managing teams.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are highly desirable.
