Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing for a flexible 40-hour work schedule, predominantly Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Function as an Independent Contractor, providing therapy services for senior clients across various settings.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the unique needs of each client, followed by creating personalized treatment plans.
• Offer ongoing psychotherapy and counseling sessions, helping clients articulate their feelings and develop coping strategies.
• Research and refer clients to additional resources when necessary, ensuring they have access to comprehensive support systems.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in regular supervisory meetings to review cases, share insights, and enhance therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on senior clients, many of whom face unique mental health challenges associated with aging, such as loneliness, depression, and anxiety. Understanding the specific environmental and social factors that affect this population is key to your success in this role. You will be providing empathetic support and practical resources to help them navigate their challenges and promote better mental wellness.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Word, to ensure streamlined documentation and communication.
• Strong self-management skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple cases.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with geriatric populations is highly desirable, though not mandatory.
• A background in community health settings or teletherapy would be a plus.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic frameworks and modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

The role of the Licensed Clinical Social Worker offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
