This position is fully remote, allowing you to conduct sessions from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a flexible work schedule. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your essential responsibilities will include:

• Providing individualized assessments and treatment plans for clients, addressing a broad range of mental health concerns.
• Assisting clients with daily living skills, such as meal planning, shopping, and cooking, promoting self-sufficiency and independence.
• Guiding clients in medication management, including prompts for dosage adherence, refills, proper storage, and monitoring compliance.
• Facilitating transportation arrangements for clients, offering assistance with public transportation systems, and accompanying clients to essential medical appointments.
• Maintaining a well-stocked environment by ensuring clients have access to necessary household supplies, as directed by treatment goals.
• Delivering services that meet the highest standards of care, ensuring that treatment approaches are tailored to facilitate progress and enhance client satisfaction.
• Adhering to all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements pertinent to our program, including compliance with state licensing regulations.
• Collaborative teamwork, ensuring effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders regarding client progress and care coordination.
• Maintaining thorough and timely documentation of client interactions, mileage reports, and other relevant documentation in alignment with established standards.
• Observing client behavior and mood, implementing and reinforcing safety protocols as necessary and modeling positive behaviors for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with a diverse client base that includes children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing various mental health challenges. Your role will involve integrating cultural sensitivity and understanding into your counseling practices, offering a safe and welcoming space for all clients. Your expertise in developmental and emotional issues will empower clients to navigate their complex experiences with resilience and confidence.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a closely related field.
• A valid license to practice as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, and comfortable utilizing telehealth platforms for virtual sessions.
• The ability to manage a full caseload while maintaining a high level of service quality in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-directed and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Experience

While not required, experience in geriatric counseling is a plus, as it may enhance your ability to engage with a broader range of clients. Knowledge of community resources and therapeutic methods tailored to specific populations will also be beneficial. Your existing skill set should reflect comfort in addressing multiple and concurrent cases effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
