Job description

Role: Power Platform Architect 
Location: Remote
 
Secret clearance required
 
 Power Platform Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade Power Platform solutions. The ideal candidate will not only have deep technical expertise in Microsoft PowerAppsPower Automate, and Power BI, but also possess hands-on experience in implementing DevOps best practicesversion control, and process automation across Power Platform environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect, design, and implement scalable solutions using PowerApps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps)Power AutomatePower BI, and Dataverse.
  • Establish and enforce Power Platform governance, including environment strategy, ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), and security standards.
  • Implement DevOps best practices within the Power Platform ecosystem — including CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and automated deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Automate manual processes to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enable continuous delivery.
  • Define and implement standards for solution versioning, documentation, and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure teams to align technical architecture with organizational goals.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365Dynamics 365Azure services, and third-party systems as needed.
  • Mentor developers and enforce best practices for design, security, and performance optimization.

Required Qualifications:
  • Active Secret clearance or above (Top Secret / TS-SCI preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT with at least 3+ years focused on Power Platform architecture and solution delivery.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PowerAppsPower AutomatePower BI, and Dataverse.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOpsGit, or GitHub for version control and CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Proven experience implementing ALM strategies and automating build and release pipelines for Power Platform solutions.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure integration patterns.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600)
  • Experience with environment strategy and Center of Excellence (CoE) setup.
  • Knowledge of security modelsdata loss prevention policies, and role-based access control in Power Platform.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
