Job Title: Information Technology - Automation Analyst

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Automation Analyst (Contract) specializing in Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate to support business process automation initiatives across the organization. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, solution developers, and data teams to identify automation opportunities, design scalable solutions, and support ongoing operations within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. This position is ideal for a hands-on automation professional who enjoys translating business needs into practical, governed automation solutions in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, document, and refine automation requirements
  • Perform initial assessments to identify automation opportunities and evaluate solution feasibility
  • Document "As-Is" and "To-Be" business process flows and supporting artifacts
  • Design, develop, implement, and support Power Apps and Power Automate solutions
  • Partner with other Automation Analysts, Visualization Analysts, and Data Modelers to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions
  • Create and maintain solution documentation, including: o Process flows o Benefit and impact analysis o Solution and architecture diagrams o Technical specifications and support documentation
  • Follow established governance, data management, and information security standards
  • Support department operations, including: o Monitoring automations and job schedules o Managing support requests and change management o Maintaining solution inventories o Diagnosing and resolving automation issues
  • Learn and support Business Unit systems and operational processes
  • Contribute to Power BI and Power Platform Communities of Excellence (COEs) to strengthen adoption and best practices
