  • Expert-level review and validation of RMF authorization packages and Body of Evidence, including System Security Plans (SSP) and Security Control Traceability Matrices (SCTM)
  • Comprehensive security design reviews, threat assessments, and risk assessments for complex classified environments.

What you'll build and deliver:

  • Resilient and secure cloud infrastructure incorporating Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption, and network security
  • Advanced security controls and integrations for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Key technical artifacts including POA&Ms, SCTMs, and Risk Assessment Reports (RARs)
  • Robust incident handling procedures, incident response plans, and detailed system security documentation

Here's what you need:

  • Relevant Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or 4 years of relevant IT/military experience in lieu of a degree)
  • 5 years of experience implementing NIST 800 53 and/or JSIG security controls and driving full RMF lifecycle activities
  • 5 years of dedicated experience as an ISSO, ISSM, ISSE, or Cloud Engineer
  • 2 years of hands-on experience securing Windows and Linux operating systems
  • DoD 8140 compliance (e.g. Security+, CISSP, CASP, etc.)

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with Sentris
  • Experience with virtualization or cloud
  • Experience working in a modern DevSecOps project environment
  • Advanced certifications such as CISSP, Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect/Admin, AWS Certified Security, or other related SIEM/Cloud credentials
  • Hands-on experience with ACAS/Nessus scanning and SIEM/Splunk dashboard creation for continuous monitoring
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts plainly to semi-technical customers and interface professionally with government stakeholders
  • The ability to lead and collaborate in a matrixed team environment while continuously adapting to emerging technologies and threats
