Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50-mile radius).
Job Discription: The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the service of one (1) Software Engineer 3 position who meets the general qualifications of Software Engineer 3 and the specifications outlined in this document for the above-named customer. The Software Engineer 3 contractor position is part of the HHSC IT Administrative Applications Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team and will play a crucial role in designing, developing, maintaining automation and document intelligence solutions that transform large, complex data sources. The Software Engineer 3 will perform advanced developer duties including solution design, automation development, document ingestion and analysis, search enablement, infrastructure support, collaboration across teams, and continuous improvement. The contractor role will focus on robotics and document processing technologies that may include Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Automate, Azure, and PDF/document processing frameworks. This position will be responsible for developing, testing, and supporting solutions that automate business processes and convert large multi hundred-page PDFs and data packages into structured, navigable, and actionable intake artifacts. The work will occur in a fast paced Agile (Kanban/Scrum) environment.

Microsoft Power Platform Developer Certification
Required Skills:
8 Years of Hands-on experience with RPA development, with at least 4 years specifically using Blue Prism, including attended and unattended bots interacting with web sites
8 Years of Experience with RPA integration with APIs and Databases including RESTful web services and SQL DBs
8 Years of Experience developing reports and/or documents based on structured/unstructured data
8 Years of Experience building analytics based on structured/unstructured data.
Preferred Skills:
4 Years of Experience with Azure infrastructure including troubleshooting
4 Years of Experience with Power Automate development including Power Automate Desktop and Power Automate Cloud Flows
4 Years of Proficiency in the Java programming language
4 Years of Power BI, SQL
4 Years of Azure AI/Cognitive Search
