The Work:
We are seeking a Mid-Level Microsoft Power Apps & Power Automate Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise business applications and workflow automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. The successful candidate will work with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions that support mission-critical federal business processes. Key Responsibilities Application Design and Development
  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain business applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Build Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and custom pages based on approved business and technical requirements.
  • Translate wireframes, process diagrams, user stories, and functional requirements into working applications.
  • Apply sound application-design principles, including usability, accessibility, responsive design, modularity, and maintainability.
  • Develop reusable components, templates, formulas, and common application functions.
  • Configure forms, views, business rules, validation logic, and role-based user experiences.
  • Participate in application-design reviews and recommend practical technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application performance, usability, and functional issues. Power Automate Development
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Power Automate cloud flows.
  • Automate business processes involving approvals, notifications, document routing, data synchronization, task assignments, and scheduled activities.
  • Develop flows that integrate Power Apps with Dataverse, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, SQL Server, and other enterprise systems.
  • Implement conditions, loops, parallel branches, child flows, approval processes, and scheduled workflows.
  • Configure error handling, retry logic, exception management, logging, and operational notifications.
  • Diagnose failed or slow-running flows and implement corrective actions.
  • Optimize workflows to reduce unnecessary actions, connector calls, processing time, and platform consumption.
  • Develop reusable flow components and follow established automation standards. Data and Integration Development
  • Create and maintain Dataverse tables, columns, relationships, views, forms, and business rules.
  • Design data structures that support application functionality, reporting, security, and future enhancements.
  • Build solutions using SharePoint lists, Dataverse, SQL Server, Excel, and other approved data sources.
  • Configure standard connectors and assist with the development of custom connectors.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure services, REST APIs, and approved third-party applications.
  • Work with JSON, REST, OData, HTTP actions, and API authentication methods.
  • Collaborate with integration and security teams when connecting to enterprise systems.
  • Support application lifecycle management (ALM), including solution packaging, deployments, and version control.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application and workflow performance.
  • Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
  • Follow established security, governance, and development standards in a federal environment.
  • Collaborate effectively in an Agile development team.

Here's what you need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4-6 years of application development experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Power Platform development.
  • Experience developing Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse solutions.
  • Working knowledge of Power Fx, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, REST APIs, JSON, and SQL. • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, or similar source control and CI/CD tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust or higher security clearance

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
