A member of the Production Department, a food service division at Lyons Magnus, an international food and beverage manufacturer headquartered in Fresno, California. The Processing Operator is responsible for batching/cooking syrups, sauces, & toppings and operating the filler. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. This position reports to the Production Lead.


Pay: $21.00 per hour + shift differential

Hours: 1:45pm - 12:00am

Schedule: Monday - Friday + occasional Saturdays

(Must be willing to work OT and Weekends)

Location: Westlake, OH

Position Type: Full Time

Work Environment: Production Environment within a Manufacturing Facility


Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and measure ingredients according to recipes in RedZone.
  • Cook or blend products to specifications as outlined in the recipe.
  • Verify BRIX and pH levels to ensure they meet recipe requirements.
  • Monitor and manually verify temperatures throughout the cooking process.
  • Set up and operate equipment, including fillers, cappers, kettles, pumps, and piping, to run assembly lines.
  • Package finished goods in bottles or cans according to product specifications.
  • Record lot codes and quality checks using RedZone and Microsoft Dynamics AX (DAX).
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Follow food safety requirements, including GMPs and SQF guidelines, throughout the facility.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment in accordance with SQF guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong basic mathematical skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate documentation
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to tolerate high-temperature and humid working conditions while performing job duties safely.
  • Strong attention to detail

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and understand English-language recipes, instructions, documentation, and accurately enter information into RedZone.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with RedZone and Microsoft Dynamics AX (DAX).
