Job description

Overview
Sr Technical Consultant, Cloud & AI - CTJ - Poly
Collaborates with internal stakeholders in the pre-sale process by understanding business requirements and providing industry and technical input and/or solution offerings to help shape the deal. Supports drafting proposals and/or statement of work (SOW). Provides input on staffing and skill requirements for delivery to Resource Deployment, Technical Delivery Managers (TDMs), and/or Project Managers. Uses business, industry, and technology strategies to map customer/partner requirements to the adoption and optimization of Microsoft technology solutions. Engages others appropriately to understand and define customer requirements. Communicates the business value of planned solutions to customers/ partners. Identifies technical and business risks in programs and proposes mitigations. Acts as an ambassador in the consumption of intellectual property (IP) by leveraging and/or modifying existing IP or creating repeatable content where applicable. Improves Managed Standard Offerings (MSO) quality and collaborates with portfolio and solution teams of the domain by providing feedback. Identifies opportunities to expand or accelerate the adoption and consumption of the cloud and Microsoft technologies. Facilitates, as appropriate, other team members to scale the business with existing customers by articulating value propositions of strategic Microsoft products and services and developing new offerings for the domain.
Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain the enterprise MECM infrastructure and associated management systems.
  • Manage software deployment, operating system imaging, application packaging, and endpoint lifecycle activities.
  • Plan, test, and deploy security updates, patches, and configuration baselines to managed devices.
  • Monitor MECM client health, deployment success rates, and overall system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve endpoint management, software deployment, and operating system issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and implementation guides.
  • Support compliance initiatives through configuration management, reporting, and audit support activities.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure effective endpoint management and service delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations for endpoint management modernization and process improvements.
  • Support incident response, change management, and operational maintenance activities as required.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field AND 3+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements
Security Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or
government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include,
but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
• The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access
to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation
(SSBI) with Polygraph. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening
requirements are required pre-offer and post-hire for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the
appropriate U.S. Government clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in
employment action up to and including termination.
Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security
clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide
clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud
background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due
to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal,
state, and/or local United States government agency customer and is subject to certain
citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal
requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport, or other approved documents, or
verified US government Clearance
Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Experience administering Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) in an enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint management technologies.
  • Experience with software deployment, patch management, operating system deployment, and reporting.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and cloud-based endpoint management solutions.
  • Experience supporting government or regulated environments.
  • Must have an active Full Scope Poly

Technology Consulting IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,800 - $193,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $126,100 - $207,600 per year.
