DUTIES: Use modern data analytics and Business Intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, Python and Oracle SQL Developer to perform Complex data analysis to support General Motors' Global Supplier Quality and Development organization by creating reports and dashboards. Support leadership in data driven decision making by developing reports and tools to aid in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). Support Supplier Quality Launch Engineers by reporting on Component Readiness Valves (CRV), Production Part Approval (PPAP) and Run at Rate processes throughout the Global Vehicle, Powertrain, and Software Development Process (GxDP). Lead integration of the Supplier Process Change Request (SPCR) into Supplier Quality's value stream, ensuring the right data is available to all stakeholders to quickly act on change requests. Assist Supplier Quality Engineers to analyze Quality Performance Rating (QPR) metrics of suppliers to highlight trends and failure modes using customized Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Gather functional and technical requirements from Supplier Quality Engineers and Leadership to create reports with data drill-down capabilities that can address users of different organizational hierarchy levels. Design, develop, validate, and create reports in Microsoft Power BI by utilizing Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and Power Query M formula language to gather and clean data. Create meaningful dashboards utilizing visualizations such as histograms, bar and pie charts and line plots to highlight data analysis results and support critical decision making by leadership. Perform regular maintenance and updates to reports deployed to Microsoft Power BI Service. Schedule reports refresh to ensure accurate and reliable data is readily available. Perform cross-functional activities such as creating Change Requests to have reports deployed to Production servers from Pre-Production servers. Utilize Pivot Tables, Data Models and formulas in Microsoft Excel to create reports. Create Macros using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to automate data entry tasks and report creation. Utilize Oracle SQL Developer and write Structured Query Language (SQL) queries to explore and identify data tables containing relevant data and fields required to achieve the goal and successfully complete the task. Perform data wrangling to extract relevant data fields required to create reports. Perform role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Supplier Quality business systems such as Supplier Practical Problem Solving (SPPS), Supplier Quality Management System (SQMS) and Supplier Certification Management System (SCMS) in cross-functional and cross-departmental projects. Identify errors in data systems and advise on changes and updates to be made. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field of study and Two (2) years of experience as a Data Analyst or related role. Two (2) years of experience with: Microsoft Excel. One year of experience with: Microsoft Power-BI; SQL and Oracle; Microsoft VBA macros; and Microsoft SharePoint.
