Mandatory Qualifications:

At least 10 years of hands-on experience with full life cycle of Data Warehouse technical design and development including logical and physical data modeling, mapping data elements from various data sources and loading Data Warehouse objects including dimensions, hierarchies, fact tables, and aggregates, building the Reporting Metadata layer, as well as building the reports.

At least 5 years of experience spanning at least two IT disciplines, including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or operations.

At least 5 years of hands-on experience in architecture design and implementation of business intelligence and predictive analytics on cloud-based Data Warehouses.

At least 5 years of experience in translating business requirements into data requests, reports, and dashboards.

At least 5 years of experience in working closely with business areas to identify business needs and analytics opportunities.

At least 3 years of using DevOps tool chains and processes.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field. (Please provide copy of degree)

Desirable Qualifications:

10 years of experience of data warehousing like: SQL Server, Snowflake, and/or AWS Redshift.

3 years of experience of using ETL tools like: FiveTran, Informatica, AWS Glue, Talend.

3 years of experience of Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.

Experience of developing a library of deployable and documented cloud design patterns, based on the CalSTRS application portfolio, as a basis for deploying services to the cloud.

Experience of developing solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for private, public and hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services.

Have AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications. (Please provide copy of certifications)
