Position Overview

Global IT is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator & Office Administrator to join our team immediately. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, coordinating daily office activities, and creating a positive first impression for students, visitors, and business partners.

Location: Southfield, Michigan
Schedule: 32–40 Hours per Week (Based on Eligibility)

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, students, and callers with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and schedule appointments.
  • Respond to emails and general inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Maintain office calendars, appointments, and meeting schedules.
  • Assist prospective students with information, registration paperwork, and course-related inquiries.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate digital and paper filing systems.
  • Support daily office operations and administrative activities.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ensure records are maintained accurately and in compliance with company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, clients, and staff.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of receptionist, office administration, or customer service experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general office software.
