Job description

Columbia Research Laboratories one of the Leading Manufacturer of Sensors used in Aerospace, Military, and Industrial Markets is looking to hire an experienced Electronic/Mechanical Assembler. The candidate will be responsible for performing any combination of the following tasks to assemble electronic and mechanical components, sub-assemblies, products, or systems:

  • Potting, cleaning, epoxy bonding, and curing. Must have experience soldering under a microscope.
  • Use tools to make or repair parts and products.
  • Interpret technical documents such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other written instructions.
  • Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
  • Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise
  • Meet all safety requirements of the company
  • Installing assembly or sub-assembly into cases or housing.
  • Proficient soldering ability is required. As well as the capability to spend long periods of time under a microscope or magnifier.
  • Works well with others in a team, environment to get projects accomplished and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Efficiency and high-quality work is a must
