Job Title: Tissue Specialist I
Location: Plymouth, MN
Duration: 12 Months
Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:30 PM โ€“ 2:00 AM

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tissue Specialist I to assemble structural heart devices in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.

This role requires precision sewing using suture and needle under a microscope while following strict quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble structural heart devices following approved manufacturing procedures.
  • Perform precision sewing using suture and needle under a microscope.
  • Use microscopes, small hand tools, measuring instruments, and test equipment.
  • Inspect components to ensure compliance with quality and design specifications.
  • Support product testing, verification, and validation activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow GMP, quality, and safety procedures.
  • Work collaboratively to achieve production goals and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 0โ€“2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to perform detailed work with very small components.
  • Experience working under a microscope preferred.
  • Ability to sew using suture and needle (or willingness to become certified).
  • Cleanroom or medical device manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Ability to perform repetitive fine motor tasks with exceptional attention to detail.
