Job description

A Round Rock manufacturer specializing in Nuclear Sensors & Process Instrumentation is seeking a detail-oriented Microscope Assembler to join their team immediately. This is a long-term temp-to-hire opportunity ideal for candidates with experience in small parts assembly and microscope work.

Schedule: Monday – Saturday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

  • Winding platinum onto small ceramic tubes
  • Using small hand tools such as tweezers and dental drills
  • Grinding notches in ceramic materials under a microscope
  • Performing scope weld and machine shop-type assembly work
  • Assembling and fabricating small metal parts
  • Connecting and assembling delicate small components
  • Testing and inspecting parts using a microscope
  • Following testing and quality control procedures
  • Maintaining accuracy and precision throughout the assembly process

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of small parts assembly experience
  • Experience using microscopes in a manufacturing or assembly environment
  • Experience working with small hand tools
  • Knowledge of testing and quality control procedures
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
