Position Description & Qualifications If you want to work on cutting-edge DoD programs, Serco has a great opportunity for you! As a Senior Anti-Tamper Engineer specializing in microelectronics, you will be supporting the Special Programs Division, DoD Anti-Tamper (AT) Executive Agent Field Program Office (AFLCMC/WAG-AT) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. This position is contingent upon the ability to maintain/transfer active U.S. Department of War (DoW) Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI. WAG-AT conducts studies to identify new capabilities; matures laboratory technologies to be weapon system ready; and develops, tests, and rapidly fields new AT capabilities/products all which provide insight and foundational AT technology to seed DoD weapon system development programs. These are focused on reducing developmental risk and associated cost and schedule growth, ultimately ensuring AT architectures are developed, supporting protection of US warfighters against loss of life caused by technological exploitation of US weapons systems. In this role, you will: * Assess microelectronics, integrated circuitry, industry standard processors, and memory chips used in military equipment * Using experience with lab equipment, assess and exploit circuity, processors, and memory chips and implement methodologies for reverse engineering electronic systems and integrated circuitry * Collaborate with Service labs and industry partners in assessing current and future weapons systems' susceptibilities and vulnerabilities to an adversary's exploitation; evaluate and develop friendly forces lab exploitation capabilities of US weapons systems' electronic circuitry * Using expertise in DoD, AF and common engineering and scientific principles, criteria, and procedures; improve planned and existing weapon system manufacture, operations, re-manufacture and de-militarization operations and oversight * Interface with DoD Anti-Tamper Evaluation Teams to evaluate current designs and identify vulnerabilities and susceptibilities to foreign and adversary exploitation * For program protection, identify technologies and evaluate system/subsystem design functions and improvements to protect Critical Program Information (CPI) * Develop plans to assess security features of Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off-The Shelf (COTS) components for CPI susceptibility/vulnerability to exploitation and reverse engineering * Assist efforts to improve US weapons system anti-tamper/anti-exploitation design, development, manufacturing, training, and sustainment * Provide engineering support for technology and product acquisitions to include long-term planning, request for proposal (RFP) development, and technical oversight of ongoing projects * Assess acquired capabilities in achieving system design requirements and specifications To be successful in this role, you will have: * An active DoW Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and access to Special Access Program (SAP) and have a background investigation current within the past 5 years or under Continuous Vetting * A Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program plus 12 years experience in an engineering position with the DoD, other government agency, or DoD contractor * OR a Masters Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with a Bachelor's in engineering from an ABET accredited program and a minimum of 8 years experience in an engineering position with the DoD, other government agency, or DoD contractor * Minimum of 3 years of SAP and/or SCI experience within the last 8 years * The ability to travel up to 10%.
