Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers and Product Coordinators, operating as a manager of managers with both direct ICs and a people-leader reporting to you
  • Drive product lifecycle ownership across all categories from ideation through go-to-market and end-of-life, ensuring launches are delivered on time and in line with business goals
  • Set category direction with intentional product differentiation by staying ahead of technology trends, consumer behavior shifts, and competitive movements
  • Translate consumer insights, market data, and hands-on testing into clear product briefs and compelling roadmap investments
  • Partner closely with engineering, program management, design, and marketing teams globally to deliver products that are both technically excellent and commercially strong
  • Own the long-term roadmap and serve as the accountable voice for hardware portfolio decisions in leadership reviews and cross-functional planning cycles
  • Define user experience targets for each segment and ensure the team designs to them consistently
  • Drive packaging and brief direction in partnership with product coordinators, maintaining a consistent standard of shelf legibility and consumer clarity across the portfolio
  • Evaluate new market opportunities, third-party partnerships, and licensing options that expand HyperX's reach or accelerate roadmap bets
  • Represent the hardware product team as a leader and champion in cross-functional forums, executive readouts, and external partner conversations

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Design, or equivalent experience
  • 8 or more years of product management experience in gaming hardware or consumer electronics, with at least 2 years managing other PMs
  • Demonstrated track record of shipping successful gaming or enthusiast hardware products across the full product lifecycle
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams, including setting clear expectations, growing talent, and managing performance
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to drive alignment without formal authority across engineering, marketing, finance, and operations
  • Deep knowledge of the gaming hardware landscape, including competitive dynamics, consumer segments, and emerging technology trends
  • Ability to operate effectively in a global environment across cultures and time zones
  • Fluency in both strategic altitude and execution detail, able to zoom out for leadership conversations and zoom in to unblock the team
