ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER – DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist the General Manager in fostering a positive and respectful team environment by handling key Human Resources duties, including employee recognition, coaching, and engagement initiatives.
  • Manage the complete talent lifecycle, from overseeing a diverse hiring and training process to guiding employee growth and succession planning.
  • Proactively manage the guest dining experience by engaging with patrons, resolving complaints, and collaborating with the culinary team to ensure seamless service and satisfaction.
  • Maintains excellent knowledge of venue’s food & beverage products, menu items and equipment used to perform duties.
  • Responsible for execution of policies, operating procedures, training programs, directives, menus, rules and regulations for the restaurant staff.
  • Maintain the highest standards of health, sanitation and cleanliness with in all areas of Beverage.
  • Responsible for completion of all company compliance training by the restaurant staff.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years of prior relevant experience
  • Previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant or previous experience in a luxury or fine-dining restaurant preferred
  • Ability to work a varied shift to include weekends, holidays, and evenings

PAY RANGE:

Pay Range: The pay range for this role is: $62,300.00 - $83,100.00 This range represents a good faith estimate of the salary range that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s incentive plan. Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans. Specific program offerings vary by eligibility factors such as geographic location, employment status, and union membership.
