This role operates within a remote outpatient office setting, allowing for flexibility while ensuring high-quality therapy is delivered. As a therapist at Brighten Every Life Therapy, you will utilize various digital tools and resources designed to enhance client engagement and therapeutic effectiveness.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans focused on achieving therapeutic goals.
• Regularly meeting with clients to reassess treatment plans, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments.
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a platform for shared experiences and support among clients.
• Employing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy to enhance client outcomes.
• Promoting the development of healthy coping mechanisms, emotional regulation, and relationship skills.

You will primarily serve a diverse client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relational conflicts, and life transitions. Your role is vital in supporting couples and families striving to improve communication and reconnect emotionally. Each client brings a unique set of challenges, and your expertise will guide them towards healthier relationships and personal growth.

To qualify for this role, you will need:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
• A demonstrated history of two years of experience in a clinical setting with individuals, couples, and families.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients and document progress effectively.

While not mandatory, certification in Marriage and Family Therapy is preferred, as it indicates a commitment to continuous professional development. An understanding of trauma-informed care principles is also beneficial, allowing for more effective client engagement and support.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
