Work Environment

We adhere to a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring work-life balance for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Brighten Every Life Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert mental health counseling to a diverse range of clients, helping them navigate their emotional landscapes.
  • Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that align with clients' specific needs and goals.
  • Conducting regular therapy sessions, both individual and group, to monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
  • Performing ongoing evaluations of client improvement and utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to their unique situations.
  • Facilitating supportive group therapy sessions to foster community healing while also referring clients to additional services when required.
  • Empowering clients to build healthier coping mechanisms and achieve emotional stability through targeted therapeutic strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will engage with a varied patient population, including individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of challenges. Your expertise will be crucial in helping clients navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and life transitions. By creating an engaging therapeutic alliance, you will guide clients toward achieving their personal goals and improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience working with individuals, couples, and families.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
Preferred Experience

While not required, the following experiences are preferred:

  • Certification in Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Experience utilizing various therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Familiarity with virtual counseling platforms and technology that enhances client engagement.
