This is a full-time remote position, providing therapists with the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a strong connection with the clinical team through virtual meetings and telehealth sessions. • Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relational conflicts, and life transitions.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical records in adherence to HIPAA and California state regulations, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of client information.
• Involve and educate family members in the therapeutic process to foster a supportive environment for the primary client.
• Build and sustain respectful, effective relationships with fellow professionals and support staff to ensure a cohesive team atmosphere.
• Collaborate with local community organizations, healthcare providers, and support services, ensuring clients receive holistic care that meets their needs.
• Act as a crisis intervention advocate, skillfully navigating emergency situations and providing immediate support to clients in distress.
• Regularly participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions to enhance collaborative care and stay abreast of industry trends.
• Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring an optimal number of therapy sessions each week that aligns with best practices for client care.

As an LMFT at Receptive Counseling LLC, you will work with a diverse client base that encompasses individuals, couples, and families from varied cultural, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds. Our clients often face complex mental health challenges that affect their daily lives and relationships. This role is pivotal to enhancing their emotional well-being, equipping them with coping strategies, and creating sustainable paths toward recovery.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LMFT license in the state of California.
• Thorough understanding of LMFT ethical guidelines, confidentiality requirements, and scope of practice.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, accompanied by the ability to foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Demonstrated capacity to respond effectively in crisis situations, ensuring client safety and well-being.
• Proficient in writing clear, concise, and meaningful documentation that meets legal and administrative standards.
• In-depth knowledge of ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and HIPAA regulations pertaining to behavioral health.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working as an LMFT, preferably within a community health setting.
• Experience with teletherapy methodologies and electronic health record systems.
• Familiarity with culturally responsive therapeutic practices that address the needs of diverse populations.

We offer a competitive salaried compensation range of $90,000.00 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
