In your capacity as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ mental health issues, using standardized tools to inform treatment planning.
• Design and implement individualized therapy programs tailored to each client’s unique goals and challenges, ensuring an evidence-based approach is maintained.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques rooted in established therapeutic methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Provide education and support to clients' families, helping them understand the therapeutic process and how to assist their loved ones in their recovery.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential clinical records in accordance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines, ensuring accuracy and completeness in documentation.

You will work with a diverse clientele grappling with various mental health challenges, including relationship dynamics, communication breakdowns, and other family-related issues. Your role will necessitate a deep understanding of the complexities associated with marriage and family therapy, allowing you to provide culturally competent care that respects the individuality of each client’s background and experiences.

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Possess a valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Exhibit outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create trusting therapeutic relationships.
• Demonstrate empathy, understanding, and a non-judgmental approach towards clients' diverse experiences and struggles.
• Show strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle clinical responsibilities and administrative tasks.

Experience working within a clinical setting focusing on marriage and family therapy is highly preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), will be advantageous. Experience in a remote therapeutic environment is also beneficial to ensure a smooth transition into this role.
