Restoring Lives Counseling, Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated and professional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our expanding team. This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while providing essential therapeutic services to clients in Columbia, Maryland. This role is primarily remote, enabling you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home or any environment that supports confidentiality and professionalism. Our outpatient office in Columbia, Maryland serves as the organizational hub, providing support and resources to facilitate your work. You will enjoy a harmonious work-life balance with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, aligning with your professional and personal commitments.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to understand their unique circumstances and therapeutic needs, utilizing standardized tools and clinical judgment.
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, employing a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to the client's goals.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that reflect the client's objectives, ensuring measurable outcomes and adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records that ensure confidentiality, compliance, and the tracking of progress over time.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest advancements in therapy techniques.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and other health professionals to ensure integrated and coordinated care, enriching the therapeutic environment.

This role is centered around diverse family dynamics, as we welcome clients from various backgrounds who seek support for issues such as communication breakdowns, conflict resolution, and mental health challenges. You will work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of each client and family unit.

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or a related field that qualifies for LMFT licensure.
• Current and active LMFT licensure in Maryland, enabling you to practice independently.
• At least two years of documented experience in a therapeutic setting, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage client needs.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enhancing your interactions with clients and colleagues alike.

• Experiential knowledge of working with diverse populations and with a focus on culturally sensitive practices.
• Experience with teletherapy or remote counseling to effectively engage clients in virtual formats.
• Familiarity with relevant software tools for managing client data and session notes securely.

The compensation for the LMFT position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
