Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations to gain insight into clients' mental health challenges, facilitating the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic techniques in individual therapy sessions to promote emotional healing and personal growth.
• Collaboratively establish therapeutic goals with clients and continuously monitor their progress towards achieving these objectives.
• Deliver teletherapy services, ensuring accessibility for clients who may face transportation or mobility challenges.
• Maintain ethical standards by keeping detailed and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and remain abreast of innovative trends in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LMFT will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families dealing with various mental health challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Our therapeutic approach is client-centered, fostering a safe space where clients can openly discuss their experiences and work towards recovery.

Qualifications

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a relevant field is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental demeanor towards clients’ struggles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills for effective caseload management and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with experience in addiction treatment and a solid understanding of trauma-informed care methodologies. Candidates familiar with teletherapy platforms will also be at an advantage.
