Join Shuert Technologies – A Global Leader in Manufacturing (Hiring for Days, Afternoons & Nights)


Shuert Technologies is a global leader in innovative manufacturing solutions. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our Thermoforming/Extrusion production team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee development in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
  • Supervise, coach, train, and develop production employees.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, overtime, and shift coverage.
  • Coordinate production start-ups, changeovers, shutdowns, and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor production performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement process enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and company standards.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, shipping, purchasing, and other departments to support production objectives.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and employee development.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Lead by example and assist with production activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Thermoforming and/or extrusion manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and continuous improvement experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Plex ERP is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
