Job description

US Farathane is seeking a Manufacturing Planning Engineer to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity for an engineering professional to expand their expertise and serve as a key contributor in supporting manufacturing facilities across the organization.This position supports facility development, manufacturing infrastructure, equipment implementation, and capital projects across our manufacturing network. This role offers a unique blend of hands-on engineering, project management, and strategic planning, providing broad exposure to the systems that drive a world-class manufacturing organization.
Key Functions
  • Providing support to all USF manufacturing facilities with regards to project related issues as well as problem-solving equipment and facility issues.
  • Understanding and use of computer drafting software, Architectural design.
  • Assist with facility development engineering projects from concept through implementation.
  • Project management.
  • Assisting with training USF staff on equipment operating and maintenance procedures.
  • Assisting Corporate Manufacturing Planning Manager with driving equipment standardization.

Qualifications
  • Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering degree / diploma and or appropriate combination of study and practical experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel to support multiple manufacturing facilities as needed.
  • Experience in a plastics manufacturing environment and knowledge of injection molding processes and equipment, preferred.
  • Experience with CAD, AutoCAD, or similar drafting software, preferred.
  • Project management experience in a manufacturing setting, preferred.
