NOW HIRING: EXECUTIVE SOUS CHEF – MEXICAN CUISINE

Bring bold flavors to a bold new concept.

A dynamic new restaurant group is launching its flagship high-volume, upscale restaurant in Philadelphia—blending elevated cuisine, energetic service, and a vibrant atmosphere. As we prepare to open doors, we’re searching for an experienced Executive Sous Chef with strong expertise in Mexican cuisine to join our opening leadership team and help define the heart and soul of the kitchen.


About the Role

As Executive Sous Chef, you’ll work alongside the Executive Chef to lead all BOH operations, driving culinary excellence through authentic flavors, refined technique, and operational efficiency. You’ll guide the team in executing a high-energy kitchen at peak volume, develop menu components rooted in Mexican culinary tradition, and uphold the highest standards of quality, consistency, and cleanliness.


What You’ll Do
  • Lead daily kitchen operations and oversee line execution with precision
  • Champion Mexican-inspired culinary techniques across the menu
  • Train, mentor, and empower the culinary team in execution and presentation
  • Manage ordering, inventory, labor, and food cost control
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team culture centered on passion and respect

What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5+ years in a high-volume, upscale or fine-dining environment
  • Strong background working with Mexican or Latin-influenced cuisine
  • Proven leadership and team development experience
  • Excellent palate, refined technique, and extreme attention to detail
  • Experience with restaurant openings highly preferred
  • Hands-on leadership with passion, humility, and professionalism
