What we offer:
• Salary: $50,000 - $52,000

Job Functions:
The Corporate Engagement Manager is responsible for the corporate partner experience across volunteer engagement and collection drives donations. The position connects companies with meaningful, mission-aligned opportunities; maintains accurate engagement records; and identifies pathways toward deeper partnership with Metropolitan Ministries. This role serves as a key relationship manager for corporate engagement activities.
Essential Responsibilities:
Corporate Volunteer & Drives Management
  • Manage corporate volunteer groups, collection drives, and employee engagement opportunities.
  • Recruit, coordinate, and steward corporate partners through volunteer and drive experiences.
  • Help facilitate orientations, tours, presentations, and mission engagement activities.
  • Support holiday initiatives, special events, and priority corporate campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate partner records, communications, and engagement plans.

Partner Experience & Stewardship
  • Serve as a key relationship manager for corporate partners.
  • Develop customized engagement opportunities aligned with partner interests and community impact goals.
  • Coordinate stewardship, recognition, impact reporting, and follow-up activities.
  • Grow participation into deeper, long-term partnerships.

Culture, Ethics & Organizational Support
  • Represent Metropolitan Ministries' mission, values, and commitment to exceptional partner service.
  • Collaborate across departments to achieve engagement, fundraising, and organizational goals.
  • Adhere to ethical fundraising standards, organizational policies, and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Support departmental KPIs, special events, holiday operations, and other organizational priorities.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, communications, nonprofit management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered. Two or more years of experience in corporate engagement, volunteer management, customer service, hospitality, fundraising, community engagement, or related fields. Experience managing multiple projects, stakeholder relationships, and event or engagement activities. Experience with CRM and volunteer management systems preferred (Virtuous and VolunteerHub a plus).
Skills Requirements:
Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and customer service skills. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn organizational systems and databases. Self-motivated team player with sound judgment, professionalism, and problem-solving skills. Ability to facilitate group orientations, presentations, and engagement experiences.
Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Metropolitan Ministries. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations while maintaining dignity, confidentiality, and respect. Understanding of the challenges facing individuals and families experiencing poverty and homelessness preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to travel locally, work on-site, and support events in various indoor and outdoor environments. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and remain active throughout volunteer and event activities.
Other:
Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and increased hours during the holiday season. Must pass applicable pre-employment screening and demonstrate legal authorization to work in the United States. Must meet all employment eligibility, screening, training, and organizational policy requirements.
