Job description

What you bring as a Team Member:
As a Regional Director, you will provide leadership, operational oversight, and strategic direction for multiple schools throughout your assigned region. You will partner closely with School Directors to ensure excellence in education, enrollment, staffing, compliance, and overall school performance.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading and supporting multiple preschool/childcare center directors
  • Driving enrollment growth and family satisfaction
  • Ensuring compliance with all local and state licensing regulations
  • Managing staffing strategy, retention, and team development
  • Overseeing budgets, financial performance, and operational goals
  • Building strong relationships with employees, families, and community partners
  • Supporting schools in maintaining Otter Learning's mission, vision, and values
  • Reporting operational performance and updates to executive leadership

Requirements:
  • Must currently live in the DMV area or be willing to relocate
  • Strong multi-site leadership experience preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of childcare licensing and staffing regulations
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for early childhood education and team development

Education & Experience Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED with 6+ years of related experience
    OR
  • Associate's degree in a childcare-related field with 5+ years of experience
    OR
  • Bachelor's degree in a childcare-related field with 4+ years of experience
