IBM XIV- Creation of storage pools, volumes, mapping VDisks to host.
IBM SVC- Creation of MDG, Vdisk, mapping host, Expand Vdisks
IBM V7000- Creation of MDG, Vdisk, mapping host, Expand Vdisks
Configure host in SVC / XIV and allocate Storage.
Replicate using TPC-R sessions
Failover/Failback using TPC-R(DR Tests)
Flash copy & Metro mirror creation in SVC & XIV.
Advanced trouble shooting skills on storage & switch end when issue arises.
Zoning implementation on CISCO switches.
Performing Storage forecast report on periodic basis.
Fault status checks & respond to alerts from storage and co-ordinate with vendor for repairs
Upgrade SVC/V7000/XIV firmware code.
Design and Carve out mdisk group from IBM SVC
Virtualize the existing storage array behind the SVC.
Implementation of thin provisioning
Migrate the Vdisks across the storage array depending upon the load.
Performance troubleshooting at SVC , External Array, SAN Switch level. Adding extra SVC node to the existin (1.) Incident Management + Change Management (Planning & Execution) On - call Escalation
