Position Overview
Rugs USA and Annie Selke are seeking an organized, proactive, and highly collaborative Creative Operations Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of creative projects across the business. This role serves as a key cross-functional partner to Marketing, Product Development, Merchandising, and the Photo Studio teams, ensuring all creative initiatives are delivered on time, on brand, and aligned with business priorities.
Essential Job Functions
Creative Project & Workflow Management
  • Own and manage the day-to-day creative project pipeline, ensuring all deliverables remain onschedule and aligned with business priorities.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, production calendars, and resource plans forcreative initiatives, campaigns, product launches, and site updates.
  • Facilitate project intake, prioritization, and workload management across the Creative team.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies to ensure deadlines are met.

Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Creative, Marketing, Product Development, Merchandising, and Studio teams.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align creative deliverables with business objectives, seasonal launches, promotional calendars, and marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure all teams have visibility into project schedules, milestones, and asset delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate cross-functional planning efforts to support efficient execution of creative initiatives.

Creative Production Management
  • Oversee production timelines from pre-production through final asset delivery for photography and video projects.
  • Manage shoot planning activities, including shot lists, product readiness, sample coordination, production schedules, and vendor communication.
  • Partner closely with the Photo Studio team to ensure efficient execution of all studio and onlocation productions.
  • Track post-production workflows, including image selection, retouching, approvals, and final asset delivery.
  • Ensure all creative assets are delivered accurately, on time, and in accordance with brand standards.

Process Development & Optimization
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve creative operations processes, workflows, and project management systems.
  • Create standardized tools and reporting to improve visibility, accountability, and team efficiency.
  • Establish best practices for creative briefing, project tracking, approvals, and asset management.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline production workflows and improve collaboration across departments.

Asset Delivery & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure all creative deliverables meet established brand standards and business requirements.
  • Maintain oversight of asset approvals and final delivery schedules for eCommerce, marketing campaigns, social media, and other business channels.
  • Partner with creative leadership to uphold quality standards throughout the production and postproduction process.
  • Track deliverables through completion and ensure assets are properly organized and archived.

You Have
  • 5+ years of experience in Creative Operations, Creative Project Management, Production Management, or a related field.
  • Experience working within a creative, marketing, eCommerce, or brand environment.
  • Strong understanding of photography and video production workflows, including pre-production, production, and post-production processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Airtable, Asana or similar tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate project needs before issues arise.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships across departments.

The pay range for this role is:
