Job description

The Aloft Tempe is hiring Van Drivers:

We are looking to fill 2 part time positions:

 Van Driver: for 2 overnight shifts
 Van Driver: for 3pm to 11pm shift Friday/Saturday nights.

A Van Driver, also called a Shuttle Driver, drives a van or small bus to collect and deliver hotel guests to and from the airport. The hotel driver also is responsible for transporting guests to tourist areas and/or other destinations and provides information on the local area.

  • Able to meet all the comfort requirements of the hotel guests and customers.
  • Able to drive in a safe and efficient manner
  • Responsible to assist the guests in any travel or destination regarding issues by applying there knowledge of the local area.
  • Able to keep a record of all the incidents while driving, for example, any accidents or tickets.
  • Able to ensure safe and easy travel for the customers/ guests to their destinations or to the hotel.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
  • Assist in security procedures at night.  Walking the hallways in between runs to ensure hotel safety.  
  • Able to take items to guest rooms as requested
  • Able to assist with light maintenance, cleaning and laundry duties.
