PRN or Part-Time Van Driver (Non-CDL)

What You'll Do

As a Van Driver, you'll play an essential role in helping Residents remain active, engaged, and connected to their community and healthcare needs.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Drive a van to transport Residents to scheduled destinations, including hospitals and doctor's offices.
  • Assist Residents safely entering and exiting the vehicle.
  • Escort Residents into appointments, ensure they are properly signed in, and provide medical office staff with your cell phone number for pick-up coordination.
  • Use a hands-free cell phone to communicate with the Transportation Supervisor and medical offices.
  • Fuel, clean, wash, and vacuum vehicles to maintain a safe, comfortable, and pleasant ride experience.
  • Report any vehicle concerns or maintenance needs to the Transportation Supervisor.
  • Record vehicle mileage daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

We're seeking individuals who combine safe driving skills with a genuine passion for helping others.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
  • Previous bus or passenger driving experience preferred
  • Less than high school education, or up to 3-6 months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service
  • Ability to remain calm, attentive, and professional in all situations
  • Genuine desire to provide exceptional service and support to others

Schedule

Part-Time or PRN

Availability needed during operating hours:

  • Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM
  • Saturday: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Sunday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
