Candidate Must Possess a Current New Jersey Insurance Agent/Producer License.


We're looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as an Insurance Sales Agent Representative. This position will work out of one of our locations in Voorhees, Sewell, or Millville. Additionally, Saturday hours are required. A work from home option may be available after completing a training period.


In this role, the candidate will:

  • Quote and sell personal lines of insurance and small commercial insurance policies
  • Aggressively pursue new and renewal business in order to achieve sales quota
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quota
  • Maintain an active prospect list to support monthly quota including outbound calling prospect leads
  • Service existing insurance book of business
  • Assess client needs and identify the most effective insurance policy and explain available services
  • Effectively develops business relationships within assigned territory
  • Interact with customers via the telephone and/or in person
  • Ensure delivery of excellent customer service
  • Participate in promotional events
  • Cross sell AAA South Jersey products and services

This is a salary plus commission position.  Salary range of $50,000-$75,000 includes base salary plus minimum commission potential.  Commission earnings are based on sales performance. 


AAA South Jersey offers a competitive benefit package that includes: Medical, Prescription, Dental, Vision, Life and Long-Term Disability Insurances.  

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience selling personal lines insurance, proven sales ability, excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to work with the public, be self-motivated, excellent time management skills, experience working with small commercial polices and PC proficiency. New Jersey Insurance Agent/Producer license required. Competitive Base Salary plus Commission opportunity. Salary based on experience.
