Job Title: Materials Planner
Job Summary
The Materials Planner is responsible for global inventory planning and coordination of order fulfillment acrosssupport a key region of business units. The role designs and manages optimal inventory levels, reliable delivery performance, and transparent reporting of key supply chain metrics.
  • Manage materials planning for items sourced and distributed globally to ensure efficient and timely delivery of customer orders across the organization for specific regions or business unit.
  • Utilize and deploy planning methods to create and manage safety stocks and reorder points to optimize inventory costs and service levels based on demand and lead times.
  • Analyze data to drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy, fullfilment levels, and inventory efficiency.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to shortages, capacity constraints, and logistics disruptions. Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, manufacturing, logistics and customer sales teams.

  • Develop and maintain reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
    • On-Time Delivery (OTD)
    • Material Shortages
    • Backorders
    • Inventory levels and turns
  • Support implementation and optimization of planning systems, tools, and processes.
  • Meet deadlines on a daily, weekly and quarterly basis

Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or order fulfillment in a global environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management concepts, including safety stock and reorder point methodologies.
  • Experience with ERP and planning systems (preferred Oracle).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different regions and functions.
  • Experience or desire to level AI tools to improve planning methods and results.
  • Knowledge of data management tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik View, or other like tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
