What You'll Be Doing
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility
  • Obtain and document vital signs and other patient information
  • Support patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Answer call lights and respond to patient needs
  • Assist with patient transport, ambulation, and repositioning
  • Prepare patients for procedures and testing
  • Communicate patient observations and concerns to the nursing team
  • Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized care environment
  • Support patient safety initiatives and unit operations

This is a physically active, hands-on role where you'll spend much of your day working directly with patients and collaborating with the healthcare team.
You'll experience the fast pace of hospital care while helping patients through some of their most vulnerable moments. Orientation Requirement
Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN team members must be able to commit to full-time orientation hours during the first 6-8 weeks of employment.
Orientation consists of three 12-hour day shifts (6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.) each week.

  • BLS certification required by the end of orientation and maintained throughout employment
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate electronic medical records
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, visitors, and members of the healthcare team
  • Ability to safely lift, move, transfer, and assist patients as needed
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds and assisting with patient movement and transfers
  • Commitment to patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care standards
