Facility: West Delray Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
Position: Housekeeping Aide
Location: Delray Beach, Florida
Schedule: Part-Time | Day Shift
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

West Delray Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to help create a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. If you take pride in your work and enjoy making a positive impact every day, we'd love to have you on our team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties throughout the facility.

  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, elevators, and stairways.

  • Dust, polish, and disinfect furniture, fixtures, mirrors, windows, walls, and ceilings.

  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, strip, wax, buff, and disinfect floors.

  • Shampoo, deodorize, and disinfect carpets as needed.

  • Safely mix and use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer instructions and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

  • Follow all infection control, HIPAA, fire safety, and workplace safety policies and procedures.

  • Properly use safety equipment when lifting or moving heavy objects.

  • Coordinate housekeeping services with nursing staff to meet resident needs.

  • Report accidents, unsafe conditions, equipment malfunctions, or maintenance concerns promptly.

  • Turn in lost-and-found items to the appropriate supervisor.

  • Attend required in-service education and training programs.

Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Willingness to accept feedback and learn new cleaning methods and procedures.
